1. Please be cautious in dealing with distant "buyers" responding to your ad!

 

Many sellers receive replies from scammers hoping to defraud them through schemes involving counterfeit cashier's checks and/or wire transfers. These checks will clear the bank, but the person cashing the check will be held responsible when the fraud is discovered.

 

2. WebCash is NOT Cash.

 

WebCash can never be converted to Cash. If you are contacted by someone stating otherwise, please email abuse@greenzap.com immediately.

 

3. Buyer and Seller Relationship.

Please review the entire ZapExchange User Agreement.

a. GreenZap and ZapExchange cannot guarantee that a buyer or a seller you are interacting with will complete the transaction. Although, we will take reasonable steps to help facilitate communication between parties to encourage satisfied buyers and sellers, we are not responsible or liable for a transaction gone badly due to an irresponsible buyer or seller. Any time you send money or communicate with a third party you are doing so at your own risk. GreenZap and ZapExchange do not issue refunds if a product, service or membership program turns out to not be what you thought it was, or if the seller does not fulfill on commitments.

 

b. Users displaying a "Verified" icon next to their user name have completed the necessary steps to verify their identification with GreenZap and ZapExchange. It is our objective to create a safe transaction community by encouraging users to become Verified. Although Verified users are more likely to be trusted users, there is no guarantee that a Verified user will always act in a trustworthy and ethical manner.

 

4. Security Notification.

 

a. GreenZap, ZapExchange and its representatives will never ask you to reveal your password. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. If anyone asks for your password by phone or by email, or on any website other than GreenZap or ZapExchange, refuse and immediately report it to abuse@greenzap.com.

 

b. Protect yourself against fraudulent websites or emails by opening a new web browser window (e.g. Internet Explorer® or Netscape®) and typing in www.greenzap.com every time you log into your account.
