Q. What is ZapExchange?
A. ZapExchange is an online service enabling users to chat, post, and search for non-sale and for sale listings in over 100 categories worldwide. ZapExchange is essentially a classifieds-style website. ZapExchange also enables buyers and sellers to complete payment transactions online, by utilizing the ZapExchange checkout service powered by GreenZap.
Q. What is GreenZap?
A. GreenZap is an online payment facilitator. GreenZap enables buyers and sellers to communicate and settle agreed upon payments online. GreenZap is the exclusive payment facilitator for ZapExchange.
Q. What is WebCash? And how do I earn it?
A. WebCash is a rewards mechanism like points or miles, wherein you can use your earned WebCash to purchase items at a discount. GreenZap and ZapExchange users can earn WebCash rewards by opening a GreenZap ‘Green’ or ‘Gold’ account and by referring friends and family to GreenZap. Please note:
WebCash is NOT cash. It cannot be withdrawn or converted.
If you are a Seller in ZapExchange, you have the option to accept a portion of your sale in WebCash. By accepting WebCash you will drive traffic to your listing.
If you are a Buyer, you can apply your available WebCash in your GreenZap account towards a purchase in ZapExchange.
If you do not have enough available WebCash to meet the accepted amount, the difference will be paid from your available ‘Cash’ balance.
WebCash acceptance can be changed or cancelled by ZapExchange or the Seller at any time without prior notice to you.
Q. What does the ‘V' or Verified icon mean?
A. The Verified icon (“V” in green star burst) displayed next to the user name signifies that this ZapExchange user has completed the necessary steps to verify their identification with GreenZap and ZapExchange. Utilizing a third party's verification tools, we are able to verify a person's identity within seconds by scanning billions of records to locate and confirm the information submitted by an individual. It is our objective to create a safe transaction community, with a low percentage of fraud, by encouraging users to become Verified. Although Verified users are more likely to be trusted users, there is no guarantee that a Verified user will always act in a trustworthy and ethical manner. Please read the ZapExchange User Agreement, and when in doubt about a user please email customer service at support@zapexchange.com prior to taking action.

A. There are three account types for posting on ZapExchange – Express, Green and Gold. The accounts are designed to satisfy all types of users:

Q. Why does it take up to 8 business days to settle an e-check payment for a purchase?
A. ZapExchange utilizes GreenZap as its exclusive payment service. GreenZap settles payments between buyers and sellers using e-check or Automated Clearing House (ACH) online technology. Once requested, the process typically takes 3 to 5 business days to debit a ‘buyers’ bank account and transfer the pending monies to the ‘sellers’ online GreenZap account. The 8 business days quoted will cover any delays related to smaller banking centers, such as credit unions being used to process funds. Credit card acceptance will be coming soon and will significantly reduce the payment settlement time.
Q. What type of payment methods are accepted to purchase items on ZapExchange?
A. ZapExchange utilizes GreenZap as its exclusive payment processor. Using GreenZap, you can add and send funds directly from your U.S. Bank Account to purchase “For Sale” items on ZapExchange. In order to process a purchase, you must first open a GreenZap Green or Gold account. If you do not already have a GreenZap account, you may complete the sign-up during the check-out process on ZapExchange.
