If you wish to opt-out, simply select the "Deactivate Account" link located within your “Profile”. You always have the right to change your mind. If you do not opt-out, we'll assume that you have agreed that GreenZap may use your personal information to determine what goods and services you may be interested in, offer you goods and services that we think meet your needs, and for the other purposes described herein.


Permission Marketing Emails

Beyond communications required as part of terms of service (order confirmations, shipping details, etc.), users will occasionally receive information on products, services, specials, and/or newsletters via email. Members who no longer wish to receive our email newsletter and promotional communications may indicate such wish by clicking on a designated URL supplied at the bottom of each email, or by un-checking the designated box located within your “Profile”.


Security is Priority

At GreenZap, security is a priority. We employ appropriate measures to protect consumer information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These may include, among others, encryption, physical access security and other appropriate technologies. GreenZap continually reviews and enhances its security systems, as necessary.


Links to Other Sites

We may provide links to non-GreenZap companies, like merchants. If you choose to link to web sites not controlled by GreenZap, we are not responsible for the privacy or security of these sites, including the accuracy, completeness, reliability or suitability of their information. If you are asked to provide information on one of these web sites we strongly urge you to carefully study their privacy policies before sharing your information.


E-mail Scams

E-mail can be used for sending scams such as a false offer from a company or an alert to a false computer virus. These e-mails are often forwarded with good intention by friendz, adding an erroneous level of legitimacy. If you receive an e-mail that you think could be a scam, do not forward it and delete it immediately. If you receive an e-mail warning that a new computer virus is circulating, check the web site of any one of the well-known anti-virus software companies for validation.

GreenZap is fully committed to meeting the highest standards for our privacy program and protecting your personal information.

GreenZap limits access to personal information to those employees of GreenZap and its affiliates who need it to fulfill their business responsibilities. Employees must adhere to GreenZap's privacy policies. Employees violating these policies may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. Vendors and other outside contractors we engage are subject to our contractual requirements to ensure that sensitive personal information is safeguarded.
