Q: What is GreenZap?
GreenZap is a global online payment solution provider. GreenZap is a fun, fast and easy-to-use website to securely send, receive and do just about anything with money online. Q: What Servicez does GreenZap offer?
GreenZap is positioning itself to be your online spending and sending account. GreenZap servicez include:
- Send Money:
GreenZap members can send money to anyone with an email address. This includes people outside the US. Those receiving money through GreenZap who aren't GreenZap members, can easily open a free account to receive their money.
- Spend Money:
Once you open a GreenZap account, feel free to start spending! You can add money or use WebCash to send or spend on just about anything online. You can even purchase goods and services from GreenZap's global network of preferred merchants. Find them at our GreenZap Storez.
- Receive Money:
Members can receive money directly to their GreenZap account from other GreenZap members. Additionally, members can send “money requests” to others using their GreenZap account.
- Earn Money:
Members can earn rewards by expanding the GreenZap community. GreenZap will thank you for it. And reward you for it. Upgrading to the GreenZap Gold account allows you to earn community rewards, as well as receive a GreenZap Debit MasterCard® or Visa® to access your rewardz money offline. Q: What is WebCash?
WebCash can be used to pay for products/services offered by our global network of preferred merchants listed in our GreenZap Storez; used to pay for GreenZap transaction fees; or used to send to anyone with an email address. The only difference between cash and WebCash is that WebCash can only be used, as the name says, on the web.
Q: What are the GreenZap account types and rewardz?
You can be rewarded for anyone and everyone who opens a GreenZap account. That means you'll start earning additional money in your account every time someone signs up because of you. The frequency and amount of your rewards will depend on which GreenZap account you open, and the type of account the people you referred open. Click here to learn more.
Green Account:
Open up a free GreenZap account and receive $25 in WebCash just for signing up. As a GreenZapper, you will be rewarded with an additional $5 in WebCash for anyone who signs up and enters your ZapID (previously known as your Promo Code). WebCash is yours is yours to send to anyone with an email address, used to cover transaction fees, or used to purchase goods and services from GreenZap's global network of preferred merchants.
Gold Account:
Trigger community rewards by upgrading to a GreenZap Gold account for $100. You will receive $100 in WebCash instantly, a GreenZap debit card* to use offline and a reduction on every transaction fee from $2 to $1. Just for going Gold. When you Go Gold, you'll continue to get rewarded with $5 of WebCash for every person that opens a GreenZap account and enters your ZapID. GreenZap will reward you for everyone in your community and will continue doing so until another member of your community begins to earn their community rewards. From that point, for that particular earner, you will begin to share rewards. If you personally invited 30+ GreenZap Gold account holders, and someone in your community (say, John Smith) has personally invited 10 GreenZap Gold account holders, then, you would continue to earn the difference of $20 ($16 cash, $4 WebCash) from every Gold account holder in John Smith's community (i.e. $30 - $10 = $20). Further, if you have personally invited 30+ GreenZap Gold account holders, and John Smith also invites 30+ GreenZap Gold account holders, GreenZap will continue to reward you with a minimum of $5 ($4 cash, $1 WebCash) per Gold account holder in John Smith's community. This $5 reward will continue to be paid on every new invitee who has gone Gold in John's community -- until someone in John's community who also invites 30+; this would be your cut-off point for shared rewards.

Q: How Does GreenZap Work?
GreenZap is a fun, simple, low-cost way for people to send, spend, and receive money online. It is a payment portal for facilitating transactions between individuals and businesses worldwide. Beyond being a traditional payment portal like the competition, GreenZap rewards its members with cash and WebCash for expanding the GreenZap community. Both can be used to send to anyone, used to cover transaction fees, or used to purchase brand name goods and services from GreenZap's global network of preferred merchants.
Buying from a GreenZap Preferred Merchant:
Hoist®, an exercise equipment retailer and GreenZap Preferred Merchant, is selling a set of inflatable dumbbells perfect for the exercise buff that travels a lot. Hoist is charging $50 for the dumbbell set and will accept 40% in WebCash. John Anderson would like to buy those dumbbells. John opens a GreenZap account and automatically earns $25 in WebCash. John must add $30 to his GreenZap account to purchase the dumbbells. John clicks the ZAP button and zaps Hoist $50 for the dumbbells, of which $20 was in GreenZap WebCash.
Paying for Transaction Feez:
Lucy, who lives in Australia heard about GreenZap from a friend and opened an account. She automatically received $25 in WebCash. Lucy designs and sells costume jewelry for a living. She decides to upload images of her jewelry, thus creating her very own GreenZap store. Nicole, who lives in New York City, sees Lucy's jewelry and must have one of her faux-diamond brooches for an upcoming party. Lucy is selling the brooch for $20 and will accept 100% GreenZap WebCash. Nicole clicks the ZAP button and zaps Lucy $20 in WebCash. This is Lucy's first sale! The $1.00 transaction fee that she must pay for selling an item will be debited from her WebCash balance. Lucy now has $44 in GreenZap WebCash ($25 original + $20 from selling the brooch - $1 fee for transaction).
Sending GreenZap to Someone:
Scott opens a GreenZap account. From telling several of his good friends about it, he has already accumulated $100 in WebCash! Scott's best friend from college, Chris, lives in London and is an avid auction buyer and seller. It's Chris's birthday on Saturday, so Scott decides to zap his good friend $50. Chris receives an email letting him know that Scott has sent him money via GreenZap. Chris opens a GreenZap account and sees his $50, plus an additional $25 WebCash just for opening the account. Chris is excited and immediately starts shopping at GreenZap Storez. Chris finds a great pair of Nike shoes and makes the purchase. He emails his friend Scott and thanks him for the gift!

Q: What methods of funding do you allow?
GreenZap currently offers the following methods to add money to your GreenZap account:
1. U.S. Electronic Bank Transfer (e-check);
2. Mail-In Check: We can only accept verifiable Bank Checks, Money Orders and/or Cashier's Checks. For security purposes all payments will be verified at the issuer's financial institution prior to deposit. In the very near future, you will have the ability to use your credit card, Western Union and other convenient yet secure methods to add funds to your account.

It can be your name, a nickname, your dog or cat's name, your child's name, whatever! Just make it unique to you and easy to tell your friends and family.

Q: How do I get a debit card?
To receive your GreenZap Debit MasterCard® or Visa® simply upgrade to a Gold account by completing the necessary account registration form. Federal Law requires you to provide your Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax ID and date of birth along with other personal profile information in order to receive a debit card. Your GreenZap Debit Card will be sent to you after an account verification period and upon your first debit card transaction request.

Q: How can I update or change my email address or personal account information?

Q: What funding options can I use to deposit money into my GreenZap account?
GreenZap members can add money to their GreenZap account by transferring funds from your US bank account, or by mailing in a cashier's check, money order, or personal check.

Q: How long will it take for funds to show in my available balance?
- Money added by zapping funds from GreenZap member-to-member or GreenZap member-to-non-member (membership is required) is available instantly.
- Money added online (i.e., online check) will be available within 7 business days once funds have been verified.
- Money added by mailing in a check, money order or cashier's check will be available within 7 to 15 business days once funds have been verified.

No. You can add as much money as you like to your GreenZap account. However, please note the basic Green account does have a spending and sending limit of $1,000 monthly.

Send Money
Q: How do I send money?
Zapping money with GreenZap is as easy and secure. Once logged into your GreenZap account, simply click on the “Send” tab, and enter the receiver's email address (or ZapID) and the amount of money or WebCash you wish to send. You and the recipient will receive an email letting you both know that the money or WebCash was sent. GreenZap offers the following options for sending money or WebCash:
Member to Member
Once you are a GreenZap member, you can log into your GreenZap account and zap to another GreenZap member by clicking on the “Send” tab. Once the transaction is processed both parties will receive a confirmation email for proof of payment.
Member to Non-Member
GreenZap members can send money to non-GreenZap members. Non-GreenZap members will receive an email informing them that they have received money through GreenZap and that they must complete the FREE registration process to claim their funds. This new member would count as your referral with respect to the Rewardz program.

Q: How long does it take to send money?
If you are sending money using GreenZap's member-to-member or member-to-non-member functionality, the money is sent and available instantly. If you are sending funds with an online check from your US bank account or by mailing in a check and using GreenZap as the intermediary, the funds will be available within 7 to 15 business days once the funds have been verified.

GreenZap Gold account members do not have a limit on the funds they can send or spend. Basic Green account members are limited to sending up to $1,000 per month, because the account has not been verified.

If you are receiving money through a member-to-member transfer, the money will be received and available instantly. If you loaded money using an online bank transfer or e-check or by mail-in check, please allow 3 to 4 business days for the funds to be verified and post in your available cash balance.
