Here you will find updates and the latest news regarding how you can further protect yourself from fraudulent sellers, messages, and Internet scams. It is our number one priority to keep our members safe, and uphold the integrity of GreenZap. Please continue to check this web page for updates.
Here are some warnings you should be aware of:
1. Do not attempt to cash a GreenZap check if it appears to be forged.
It has come to our attention that GreenZap members are receiving forged GreenZap checks, not generated or mailed from GreenZap directly. If you have any question about the validity of a check, please contact us to verify its authenticity before attempting
to cash the check. It is against the law to cash or deposit a forged check. If you attempt to cash or deposit a forged check, you will be subject to investigation
and possible arrest at the discretion of your local law enforcement agency.
2. Do not send funds by MoneyGram for automobile purchases where the seller is saying that GreenZap is an escrow service.
GreenZap is NOT an escrow service and will not hold funds sent by MoneyGram. There is a scam on the Internet fraudulently posing GreenZap as an escrow service that will hold funds for an international automobile purchase. We believe that some of the websites and email addresses associated with this scam are:

3. WebCash is NOT Cash.
WebCash can never be converted to Cash. If a GreenZap member tries to tell you otherwise, we recommend that you do not do business with them.
4. Buyer and Seller Relationship.
We cannot ensure that a buyer or a seller you are dealing with will actually complete the transaction. GreenZap will take reasonable steps to help facilitate communication between parties to encourage satisfied buyers and sellers. GreenZap however is not liable for any purchase, service, or program that uses the GreenZap system. At any time you send funds to a third party you are doing so at your own risk. We do not issue refunds if a product, service or membership program turns out to not be what you thought it was, or if the seller does not fulfill on commitments.
5. Security Notification.
a. GreenZap and its representatives will never ask you to reveal your password. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. If anyone asks for your password by phone or by email, or on any website other than GreenZap, refuse and immediately report it to customercare@gzsupport.com.
b. Protect yourself against fraudulent websites or emails by opening a new web browser window (e.g. Internet Explorer® or Netscape®) and typing in www.greenzap.com every time you log into your account.
